Step 1: Be VISIBLE on social
Social media is a powerful tool for your business. It allows you to interact with people, share content and engage your audience. The more visible you are on social media, the better chance you have of reaching new customers and making sales.
Step 1: Be VISIBLE on social media!
In order to make sure that we’re being as visible as possible, we need to make sure that our content is seen by as many people as possible. In this step, we’ll go over some strategies for doing just that:
- Posting frequently using hashtags
- Sharing relevant/original content at least once per day (minimum)
Step 2: Use your platform for good and to promote positivity
What’s your platform? Do you have one? If not, now is the time to get one. There are many ways of creating a platform and promoting good through your social media presence. One way is to use your online presence for good by helping others, promoting causes or spreading awareness about issues that matter to you. Another way is to promote a common goal or purpose (e.g., charity).
Step 3: Deliver value vs. just selling
As you’re creating your posts, don’t just post about your products and services. Instead, focus on topics that are relevant to your audience. For example, if you’re a real estate agent in New York City, it would make sense for you to share information about how much home prices have increased over the past year or two as well as tips on finding the cheapest homes available in that area.
Don’t be afraid to add value by sharing helpful information! You can even use links from other sites or publications related to what you are talking about (but make sure they aren’t affiliate links). This will help people with similar interests find something interesting while also giving them some context when they read through the rest of the post (which hopefully isn’t all sales pitches).
Finally—and this should go without saying—make sure that whatever content is presented has both text and images associated with it so people don’t feel like they have missed anything important by not seeing pictures/videos etc.,
Step 4: Know your audience, know your community and talk to them
The fourth step is to know your audience and community.
You may be a busy person, but if you want to get the most out of blogging and social media, you need to make time for it. You need to talk with them and engage with them in a meaningful way instead of just posting random content that doesn’t really benefit anyone.
Step 5: Build a strong brand presence and image
- Build a strong brand presence.
- Make sure your brand is consistent, clear and concise. A common mistake is to be too wordy or vague in your mission statement, so make sure it’s clear and concise.
- Create a consistent image of yourself as an influencer that people can trust and follow on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etcetera (sic).
One way you can do this is by using the same profile picture across all platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) so there’s no confusion about who they are following or their identity in general because people tend not to follow someone who doesn’t look like them at all times online when they’re looking for something new online!
Take advantage of the summer slowdown to plan ahead — here’s how!
Summer is a great time to plan ahead. If you’re anything like me, your mind will be racing with ideas at every turn. The problem with this is that when it comes time for action, you can’t remember any of them!
It’s also harder to focus when it’s hot outside and all you want to do is chill by the pool. Well, I’m here to help! By taking advantage of the summer slowdown and planning ahead for your next few months on Facebook, you can avoid making mistakes and spend more time enjoying yourself during the season (and all year round).
Conclusion
If you’ve been thinking about how to take your brand to the next level, now is the time to start making those plans. If you don’t have an audience yet, this is also an ideal time to start building one! Here are some ideas on where to start: Communicate with your customers more often by posting more frequently on social media channels like Facebook or Twitter. Use contests or promotions that will help generate buzz amongst their friends so they can spread word-of-mouth advertising even further than before. Also try using video content like live streams or press releases which can then be easily shared among followers without having them leave their current page first (which makes them much more likely).
